Events at the Maison Forte de Reignac
Highlights punctuate the holiday periods and special events highlight seasonal themes.
All year round: come and try La Légende de Reignac, a game for an interactive and immersive visit.
For all children: a game guide booklet is offered, it allows you to visit while discovering the heritage in a fun way.
For groups (more than 20 people), guided tours can take place, supported by their guide (we provide all the necessary information in advance). Organize “Discoveries and gastronomy” days for your groups, including: 2 site visits (La Maison Forte de Reignac and La Roque Saint-Christophe), as well as lunch in a local gastronomy restaurant, near the sites.
For the All Saints’ Day holidays, the site is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. continuously, at night on October 31 and November 1: A unique experience, discover La Maison Forte de Reignac as a family in a mystical and fun atmosphere. Enchantment for young and old.
For the Christmas holidays: La Maison Forte de Reignac is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (closed on December 25). The Hall of Honor is decorated with a tree, a plant table runner and a Christmas nativity scene as part of the event: “Christmas crèches of Périgord”, organized by the Visites en Périgord association.
The Legend of Reignac: the interactive game
New for 2024, available all year round : La Maison Forte de Reignac invites you to play an interactive game during your visit. Far from being simple entertainment, it is a visiting companion to observe in detail the objects and rooms of the cliff castle. You will have to solve puzzles to write your own legend of the Maison Forte de Reignac!

Thanks to an online heritage discovery solution, which also offers a downloadable application (to suit your preferences!), you can explore the “château falaise” with explanations and commentary. For those who don’t like to read, to maximize accessibility for people with disabilities, La Maison Forte de Reignac is preparing this tool which will be available before the season, we’ll keep you posted!

From July 11 2024, every Thursday evening in the summer. An experience for young and old, never before revealed to the public, a must-do this summer!
From 9 p.m., La Maison Forte de Reinac goes dark. Intriguing and striking atmosphere! Dare to enter this unique place full of history. An intense place of life, which conceals mysteries and touches the world of the strange… Will you witness paranormal phenomena during your visit?
