A site open in Périgord for the Christmas holidays
La Maison Forte de Reignac is open, during the Christmas school holidays, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., every day (with last admission at 5:10 p.m., closed on December 25). Have you never visited it? Enjoy! This is the ideal place to shelter from the cold and the rain. When the weather is nice, the view is superb from the upper terraces, but even if it rains, you will be protected.
The Hall of Honor (on the Ground Floor) is decorated with a Christmas tree, the table is planted with plants and decorated with candles and a Christmas nativity scene has been installed. La Maison Forte de Reignac takes part in the “Route des crèches du Périgord” event, organized by the Visites en Périgord Association of which we are a part. 7 exceptional sites in the region come together to celebrate the holidays and highlight their opening during this winter period. There are things to discover all year round in Périgord!

The Légende de Reignac application is still available, for a fun visit. Simply scan the QR code at the entrance to the cliff castle to discover an application (no registration and free) and play with the decorative and historical elements of the place.
The Maison Forte de Reignac can be discovered on a self-guided tour, that is to say you move at your own pace and interpretation panels allow you to understand the historical context and to have explanations on the furniture and decoration in presence.
